I am a lens-based artist in my second year as a BFA Candidate in Studio Art (concentration in Photography) at Indiana University Bloomington. I use my photography to tell intimate stories about the queer male present. My subject matter is often inspired by ideas and stories within the Bible Belt and the struggles put forward as a gay man in understanding intimacy. My work, too, is tied to post-virus isolation, and this often shows itself as a combination of bodies and natural environments in my photos, to tell a story. I also converge much of my style with other pop culture art forms, pulling from aesthetics in music branding and comic books to contextualize my visual style. My thesis show will take place in the Grunwald Gallery in the Fine Arts building at IU’s campus in April of 2026.
